Oil is absolutely the issue. Americans would not be so keen to kill the citizens of Iraq if they knew the real reasons behind the invasion. That is why the Bush made up all the fake reasons and americans believed him.
Apart from the amarainca killed, there have been soemthing like a million innocent Iraqis killed as well. They do not seem to matter to most people here, but they are innocent men, women and children whose lives have been destroyed by the american invasion.
